Founded by John James Looney Sr. and Rachel J. Burright, Red Quill Media LLC was created to fill the gap in conservative media coverage in Montana. We believe in providing a trusted space for voices committed to truth, accountability, and community-centered reporting.
In 2024, after running for office in Montana, John and Rachel realized the pressing need for a media platform that represented conservative voices in the Helena Valley and Lewis and Clark County. Red Quill Media was born from this realization—to provide honest reporting, amplify underrepresented perspectives, and encourage engagement in local governance.
John is passionate about fostering conservative values and integrity-driven journalism. Rooted in his Montana heritage, his mission is to inform and empower individuals through meaningful discourse and open dialogue.
With 18 years dedicated to advocacy and family life, Rachel brings a deep understanding of how honest journalism can strengthen communities. She is committed to fostering transparent reporting and constructive public discourse.
